WAITING FOR LOVE - BY STEFN SYLVESTER ANYATONWU

Patiently I waited on you
Whilst you walked on
Your pathway of blues;
My hands stayed up.

Silently I prayed my waiting
Be not eternal.
Countless times my hoping
Appeared fatal.

But this voice in my head
Gently in a still tune
Said "look on ahead
Son... patience is the due...

For life's best things
Are worth waiting for"
