The Sweetness of Loneliness - By Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

it adds beauty to life.
It puts a special burn on sunsets
and makes night air smell better.

it sends one down memory lane
on a joyride behind time...
to the good old days
when friends were friends.

the feeling of being unwanted
by things and people.
I mind solitude.
For a writer, it's a natural condition.
the connection for 'musy' communion.

It is cruel,
that music should be so beautiful
in moments of loneliness.
It has the beauty of pain:
of strength and freedom.

the poverty of self.
the last of my seven sources of inspiration:
...Woman, God and Loneliness.

The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love.
The cruel beauty of nature
and everlasting beauty of monotony.

the beauty of singleness
the sweetness of bitter rejection
the beginning of self discovery
the springboard of self love.

Oh sweet solitude,
engulf me as you wish
My friend like none else.
