#Book Review: New Novels by Black Women Writers - Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

An active Twitter and Facebook user, Terry McMillan is known for giving supportive shout-outs to up-and-coming writers. She recently posted a list of black women writers she admires, all of whom happened to release books this spring or summer.

“This rarely happens,” her accompanying note said. “Please support everyone on this list! They are brilliant writers.”

And here on Prose & Poetry Hood, we join her to display well-cooked writings of these aspiring writers, for the love of writing and our fascination with the African woman writer.
